Why can’t AA just use an actual aircraft for their safety video? What is with those weird office chairs in an empty hangar? They should just go back to this: https://youtube.com/watch?v=nmxQbuHAkZM Simple, not gimmicky, and the employees are warm and friendly without looking like robots. Update the...
Jump to postWow 900+ for DFW. Inching closer to ATL everyday. Thats impressive growth for AA at DFW.
Jump to postFor some reason... sites like FlightRadar24 show E140s as E135s. However, Envoy does not have 135s.
Jump to postThat short rib and mac and cheese meal AA has in F i amazing omg. I had it once and loved it. Plus love the extra bottle of titos good job to your FA.
I personally think the refurb cabin looks pretty good.
Great trip report! Thanks
April Fools? if not, wow.... pathetic move by Virgin. Someone explain this to me please?
Jump to postLufthansa is a great carrier for short haul (economy and business) and I'm jealous of your trip! Hope to make a trip myself soon. Nice report thanks for sharing!!
Jump to postCLE-DFW in January. And hopefully a few more before AA retires the Super 80! Love that bird so much
Jump to postHowever, I highly doubt that CLT-MUC can support two carriers. I I'd agree 100%. However CLT-MUC is not the only market for either carrier on that route. AA will have more of an advantage with CLT being such a fortress hub for them. Being able to route all their MUC demand through CLT. LH can only ...
Jump to postNonsense post. Bookings for May are already heavier than current early April (slow season) bookings. Not already failing. I wouldn't be surprised if this route ends up being very successful. It definitely is. They're showing around 100 or less seats remaining, mainly in Economy. Exactly. Which is g...

Pilot did a go around and requested runway lights turned on..... hmm.
I don't see where MAH4546 said anything wrong... AA has, in fact, started removing IFE from 738s. And they have been taking deliveries of new aircraft that I believe at one point were planned to have AVOD, and now don't. AA's final 738 orders all arrived with AVOD/in seat IFE. And no AVOD/IFE syste...
Jump to postDitch the AVOD and give me convenient tablet holders instead of bulky often broken in seat screens. Yes please!
Jump to post738s have already begun to have IFE removed. Not true. No 738 with seatback IFE has been retrofitted yet. The older 738s that never had personal IFE are being retrofitted first. Jump to postWhen it come to IFE , am I the only one that hasn’t owned a pair of headphones that can be plugged into something for several years now? Are they really worse than all of DLs reconfigured aircraft such as MD90s, The 199 seat 752, 234 seat 753 and airbus airplanes with lavatories literally in the galleys? I guess DL has TVs on most aircraft and a few snacks AA doesn’t have but generally I find AA planes cleaner than DLs. I haven’t be...

Loved your trip report! Especially the LGA parts. I work for American at LGA and basically am in that AA hangar everyday
The turnaround of the old US Shuttle is remarkable under AA. I cant see AA following DL's lead on this any time soon.

Usually, from my understanding, you're supposed to get a AA boarding pass even when you purchase your ticket codeshare through your other airline.
Very odd one scanned and the other didn't.

Sounds good to me... because like it or not Obama is ABUSING executive orders. The American gov't has checks and balances for a reason.
