RE: Airport Hotels Providing Discounts To Airline

Most of them do, you just tell them that you are airline crew. The only one I know of is ATL at the Ramada. <acronym title="Chicago - O'Hare International (ORD / KORD), USA - ...

RE: Implications Of Total Avionics Loss T7---

What I am wondering is where anybody has said that there is a power loss? All that we know is that the engines were working, and they failed to increase when commanded to. There is no mention of a loss of power here from the article: <TABLE BORDER=0 ALIGN=CENTER WIDTH=95% style="border-top: 1pt #284...

RE: Is This Legal? (IFR Approach Questions)

1.) I haven't flown an approach like this in a while, but If the airplane is all ready direct Coose then the approach clearance is valid. I don't know if an RNAV airplane could just be given a waypoint like that with an approach clearance.

2.) Yes, because you are on an "initial approach segment"

Also depends on the CRJ. Some of the older ones have a different wiper on them. This creates alot more noise. The newer ones are quieter but still not very good. The 700/900 are quiet enough you don't really need headsets.
