Re: St. Louis Aviation Thread - 2019

Alex, with all due respect, there isn’t demand from Marion to STL either. Let’s be real. It’s to reposition aircraft for maintenance in Nashville. Of course there isn't any demand to STL from MWA, that's why there's EAS! Hahaha There is more demand though to STL then Nashville, DOT proves it. We se...

^part of me is still surprised there wasn't more pushback at CGI because Air Choice One was so much cheaper. Sounds like being a single engine plane is what hurt them. Really?? Have you seen the economic growth here? Huh? There's a reason those cities decided Nashville was a good fit for them. There is growth in Nashville, but this is an EAS (Essential Air Service) for Marion, Illinois, a 2 hour and a half drive. There is NO demand for Marion, Illinois to Nashvil...

Re: United Fleet/Network Thread - 2019

One of the first things I noticed about the CRJ550 this evening... no electrical outlets. At least not in Economy Plus. Thought that was odd, especially if they went through the trouble of completely redoing the interior for this. The E175 doesn’t have it either in their fleet. Least there’s consis...

Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

So...following this now... I was originally lead to believe that for the 767-300's... The 2 Class 763 (Pre Polaris) were NOT going to be refitted and going to be retired or something...and the 3 Class 767-300 would get Polaris.. Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

Hey--

So trying to understand this...

Why would we (public and non crew members) care about the crew rest modules being installed? If installed, does this mean no more having to block F and J seats to accommodate our crews for rest? I am assuming that's why it's a big deal...?

Re: Have F and Basic Economy Doomed the CR7?

All CR7 have First Class, Economy Plus, and Economy for a total of 70 Seats. Don't forget, prior to the new slim line seats, all CR7's at United were 66 Seaters, before UA redid the seats to slim line.

Re: Chicago Aviation News - 2018

All- Been keeping up with the news and articles and I haven't really seen a DATE of when things are going into effect? Example, I am flying in and out of ORD every single week, I do see what appears to be dirt and construction going on. What is the first project happening? It seems the L Gates just ...
