I last had the pleasure of flying an L-1011 last August from ATL-Fll on DL of course...The flight was very comfortable..I remember the take was steep and the engines running very quiet once we were cruising...The landing in FLL was one of the best b/c the plane kept making sharp turns to get lined u...

I would go with National Airlines...Their 757's are very comfortable b/c they have a little more legroom..Also they use the "D" gates in Las Vegas and you should be able to get a good deal on the airfare..

I recently flew NW LGA-MSP-MCI-MSP-LGA and all the flights were very enjoyable....From LGA-MSP I was on a new A-319. You could tell the plane was brand new by the lack of streaks on the flaps and the smell.. The other flights were on DC-9's and they were in pretty good shape as well. MSP is a pretty...

LGA Vs DCA

Everyone is talking about all the delays at LGA due to the traffic and two short runways. However, how is it that DCA has one "real" runway and about the same amount of traffic but you never hear about their delays being so bad? Can anyone out there explain?

I really love AUS. I was there last month and it was one of the nicest airports I've visited. The car rental facility is very convienent. I also visited SAT that same weekend and it was ok. I can remember arriving DCA from STL on a TW MD-80
and as soon as we hit the wet runway the plane
slowed so quickly the seatbelt fet like it was

Good trip report...I love hearing trip reports from the West Indies....I like the take off from Kingston b/c of the great view of the airport while the plane is making a right turn....I did it a few yrs ago on an AA A300 (KIN-JFK)..It's strange how they built the airport on a penisula in the middle ...

On Saturday June 10th, 2000 I had the pleasure of flying on my first AA 777. I was on flt #2347 leaving ORD at 5:30pm. When I arrived at gate L8 I noticed the aircraft looked extra shiny. I asked a pilot who was jumpseating back to DFW and he told me that this particulary aircraft (AA789N) was AA's...

I was in Detriot metro 2 yrs ago and I must agree it was the worst airport I've seen in the US....It's too congested and old looking...Some of the NW concourses made me feel like I passed through a time machine and was back in the 70's...The new NW terminal should improve things a lot..

I've lived in both areas and noticed similarites between the airports. IAD and JFK are the int'l airports, LGA and DCA are for parking MD-80's and 737's, and BWI and EWR are a combo of both...But in terms of convience, aircraft and facilities which of the two area airports is better in everyone's op...

The livery wouldn't look too bad if there was a blue and/or red line under the windows. But the way it looks now is a very plain. That all white fuselage looks so "follow the leader." The livery before this one was the best. Thank goodness for US AIRWAYS and TWA. Those two are the pride of the U.S. ...

I love the DC-10 and I'm not looking forward to them leaving the AA and UA fleets. Next week I'll be flying a UA DC-10 from BWI - ORD. I have a window right behind the wing so I can see those flaps lower for take off and landing.. I like the L-1011 but the DC-10 has a slight lead in my book..

I also have flown many MD-80's mainly AA and DL and I love to sit as far up as possible because on take off I love how extremely quiet it is on take off and climb...It's amazing how quiet it is right after take off. It's like going up in a Lexus LS400...
