It's DHL, the fly up to 8 daily flights on ANC-CVG, mostly with 744's and 748's. Does Singapore Airlines still fly a 747F to ANC? Yes, they fly ANC-CVG a couple times a week with a B74F. Why so much capacity to/from CVG versus similar sized metros? I mean, I get ANC, as they're still a bit of a pol...Jump to post
Kind of a tangent here, but what would an operation like Fedex's at MKE be called? Aside from daily DC10s to MEM, there is also a daily A300 or A310 from Appleton that goes on to IND or MEM. Also, there's a daily morning swarm of single engine Caravans to outstate WI and some MI locations.Jump to post

Why is this type of info relevant to the story of a plane rolling into a building? Why the heck are you so upset about someone posting who the aircraft belongs to? It’s a private aircraft why wouldn’t we be curious who it belongs to? Ok so next time there is an accident involving a commercial passe...Jump to post

Dassault and battery! Oh I like that. :rotfl: "The private jet, registered in Bermuda, belongs to politician Michael Ashcroft, Baron Ashcroft. They should just stay with their SOLID regular season conveyance.Jump to post

How many hiccups is it going to take before Delta flows its traffic more evenly over it's hubs rather than it's everything Atlanta business practice it currently seems to be following causing massive passenger inconveniences when some thing like this happens. Lol well that didn't take long. I think...Jump to post
When you look at some of Apollo's other interests all this starts to make a little more sense: -Great Wolf Resorts (Great Wolf Lodge) -Norwegian Cruise Lines -Oceania Cruises -Regent Seven Seas Cruises I don't know how much of each they currently hold (if any) but there are certainly synergies to b...Jump to post

Glad to see the terminal pass. What is causing the decrease in flights and passengers to the area? Metro area is growing much faster than STL area, but is lagging STL in flights. In comparing to STL keep in mind that while growth is much stronger in KC, St Louis is still a bigger city overall. Also...Jump to post

Saw this flt over MKE.
Thought it might be a flight approaching ORD, but it shows as a 744 enroute HHN-AUS. What on earth??
I couldn' t agree with you more. The brass @ SYR will never understand that they could attract the service the catchment area would support if only they were competitive with the other Upstate airports. I think the problem is that the "Airport Authority" isn't really an independent "...Jump to post
That is a great pic. I worked an 80 charter into SEA a few weeks ago and the ground crew were beside themselves. They hadn't seen one in years and were taking pictures all over the place. We flew out of GSP this very morning! Our current home airport MKE has all 3, now that G4 has begun service (though unsure what type they'll be flying here).Jump to post
Arrived in concourse for AA flight GSP-ORD and there are long lines at every AA gate. Agents are just saying they're not sure what's going on. A fellow pax told us that they boarded, then de-boarded the flt to DCA. Anyone in the know have any ideas? Edit: Found out that "CLT was shut down and G...Jump to post
I have to say, it looks like AA could have at least done a better job with gate areas/podiums. However, I feel that DL started that race to the bottom in airline clubs when they revamped the Sky Clubs a few years back. AA's new management, sadly, simply followed their lead. Can you say more about t...Jump to post

Is PHL not still the red-headed stepchild after the NYC airports in NE Corridor, regarding airspace priority, thus negatively impacting on-time connections? At least, that's how the pilot on a LUS flt I was on years ago, waiting & waiting to take off put it.Jump to post
