As mentioned above, it's not the fact of having to juggle items around one's luggage. Those are the rules, we all get it. Again, it's the WAY in which it is approached by front line employees that makes all the difference.

I like the new livery overall, but it does kind of feel like going backwards a bit. I especially like the black around the cockpit window. I found the light greenish of the former livery to look "fresh".

You clearly haven't flown them in Y. :-) The CRJs aren't really much better, but that 1" extra in pitch is most welcome when compared to the 30" pitch E175s at Compass. Should have been more explicit ... more 175s, less CRJ200s. :) Personally, I'll take any seat on a 175 over a CRJ200 any...

I think of 747 "classics" as the -100, -200 and -300 versions. With that said, I flew two KL 747-300s (one combi), one in the mid 80s ex-ATL and the another in the mid-90s ex-ORD. I remember watching Mr. Bean reruns and laughing until I cried on the latter flight.

Wonder why it's an old US 319 instead of one of AA's nice new ones? You haven't sat in the AA 319 Coach, I assume. I have once, in the first (bulkhead) row of economy, DFW-ATL. At least for that length flight, it was comfortable (and I have a notoriously un-padded rear end). The IFE helped I suppose.

We are booked on AS3423 MKE-SEA on April 14 in the front cabin on a Skywest E175. It is listed as a dinner flight. How will onboard service (both hard and soft product) differ from that on a 737 flight of similar length?
