RE: Swiss Joins ONE World Not LH

Would Oneworld automatically reduce long haul flights from Switzerland and re-route them through BA hubs? With Switzerland being such a (seasonal?) big destination for tourism, and I would imagine business as well, I would think that <acronym title="Zurich ...

I would just hate to see another major east-coast airline name tumble... US is the major airline where I live, and after Eastern and National and Southern, would hate to see this one go, too.

I've been wondering the same thing. Have a Sony Mavica now, but looking for something that can be used without flash in low-light (aircraft interiors), etc..

Frontier's old color scheme was GREAT. Currently, for me it's a tie between KLM and AA.. And ANY aircraft in BA's early/mid '90's color scheme..

Room/Seat Pitch On Song

Song stresses that since it's an all one-class system, they can make their seat pitch a couple inches more than typical economy/coach class domestic seating. What are impressions from those who have flown Song so far?

I hope the rest of the American flying public isn't that ignorant. I would ONLY fly DL transatlantic if my life depended on it. I've flown both US and European carriers, and there's just no comparison in service. I'm still baffled why there are so man...

RE: CO Giveth And CO Taketh Away

Again, from the standpoint of a sort-of, but not-really frequent flyer, I'd rather upgrade from a lower fare that I can afford and have a really GOOD long flight than get a free flight and be cheek-by-jowl with other people.

I believe this subject was covered on an earlier post, but as a not-so-frequent flyer, whatever miles I've accumulated on whatever fare are VERY valuable to me! I don't get a chance to actually use my miles very often, and now it looks like it'll be even more infrequent. Not extactly a way to encour...

Is there a site where you can track all commercial aircraft regionally/nationally? Or maybe by destination airport? That would be great.

I haven't been much of a "frequent flyer", but have memberships with a couple of airlines. Have redeemed miles once for a trip to see my parents in Florida. Unfortunately, in the US it's been that way for some time... At least in Europe, they still have open air observation decks at major airports. Imagine that in the US! I haven't seen one of those since the late '70's here..... What a loss....
