Well they will be starting EWR soon. I think RFD is far enough from ORD/MDW that if either one were to get G4 they would retain service. Chicago would be a good focus city to sell vacation packages. I could see MKE being another city for G4. At some point I think we will see them also in DFW and IA...

You will always have some people travel down to ORD to fly out but I can see a good amount using one stop flights as well. This is my feeling too for the most part. Sure, you may save some time and a few $$ on airfare by driving down to ORD, but then you're dealing with much bigger hassles of traff...

We have been to a few Caribbean spots as well as Hawaii. We love the whole Polynesian cultural thing in Hawaii. It's our favorite vacation spot by far.... Thank God we are able to redeem miles/points for pretty much everything though, because it IS expensive.

Somehow, the airport and/or an airline has got to figure out a way to entice people to stop driving down to ORD. Between all the airlines MKE has nonstop service to most major domestic markets, and one stop overseas via another airport isn't usually a big deal on longer international trips.

Sounds good to me! I happen to be a fan of the CR9 (at least the newer ones that don't have gunky windows) and A319. We will be moving to MKE in a few months and I'm sure will be using that route a good bit.

The DFW-MKE flights are all currently MD80s. I checked in Jan. '17 and it's still all MD80s even then. With the draw-down of MD80 flying by AA, I got to wondering what will replace them on that route?

Great adds for DFW! But as DFW is AA's main connecting hub (or just main hub, period), I wouldn't be surprised to see an FCO flight cut from one of the other hubs that don't have absolutely HUGE O&D.

Yes, they are the same seats as the business class seats on the premium transcon A321s, except for the lack of AVOD. My guess this is to get ready for economy minus fares... As I recall basic economy launches in January.
