But most of the year the winds are from the south, so 18L isn't used that much - in the winter, maybe, but the rest of the year, not so much. Normally planes from destinations east of Dallas use runways on the east side of the airport for landing, and planes coming from the west land on the runways...

I agree for the most part, but it seems to me, you used to be able to hover over airport codes and the city/airport name would show on a.net (although not necessarily in thread titles). I haven't seen that in a long time. Seems like a step backwards.

MOB is just too far out of most people's way. BFM is centrally located in the metro area, plus adjacent to the main E-W interstate highway in the region, plus a main railroad line. I could def see at least freight operations at BFM.
