Sunwing will have 2 737-800's flying in December. They A/C will be leased and operated by Kelowna Flightcraft. And yes both A/C are coming from excel. Sunwing will also have a 727-200 on standby just in case one of the 738's goes mechanical.

Several Conavir 240/340/440's along with the military equvilents flew as combis. Also the Convair 5800 is capable of being a combi, although the first 4 converted are pure cargo and the 5 conversion currently underway is gonna be straight cargo aswell.....

Flightcraft did not purchase the 737-200....It is still owned by Celtic Capitol (a us comapny) ....the a/c was put under flightcrafts name just to get a flight permit to fly the a/c from vancouver to kelowna...otherwise the a/c would have to been changed to us registration before it could fly to kel...

up unitl about a year and a half ago CYLW did not have a jetway....it's mainly used for Horizon's Dash-8's and the once daily Air Canada A319, while Westjet loads both 200's and 700's from roll up stairs

I heard a rumor the other day that Kelowna Flightcraft is gonna be starting up a new charter airline with red seal vacations called Sunwings....Has anyone else heard any rumblings about this new partnership...like what kind of a/c they will be flying and from what airports??
