youve gotta love the 13-15y/o airline experts.
Ive flown out of MSP twice since 8/28, and havent found anything unusual. Seems like an average day at the airport.
Jump to postdoctored photo or not, i think this is one of the greatest pics of all time. The purists can stew in their own juices, however, I along with a lot of aviation friends love this one.
Jump to postSun Country used to be a bunch of creeps about bringing food on board the aircraft. Jump to postI just got an email from American AIrlines AAdvantage department saying that effective 9/6/04 AA will charge for phone reservations as well. Add $5 for calling res, and $10 for picking up a ticket at the airport.

What is a GDS ??? Im fluent in Sabre and PARS/Worldspan, and have never heard of a GDS.
Jump to postLooks like UA is 'keeping up with the jones'... cant be outdone by another carrier. I dont know that this is a route that can sustain a 777. Theres a reason NW is only flying a B752 in there............
Jump to postId like to try an experiment... place a DC9 and a CRJ, side by side, going to the same destination. Offer passengers either aircraft, as confirmed by the view out the window. See which aircraft fills up first. I bet the DC9 leaves out of there full.
Jump to postI dont know what the deal is with these angled seats.... quite frankly, they suck. I flew in an angled seat yesterday and detest them for sleeping purposes. Its like sleeping on a hill.
Jump to postIts been going in and out of F12, one of the hardest gates to get a decent picture at. I tried a few different angles but didnt get anything real shocking.
Jump to postWhich Airbus got damaged by lightning in France ?.. i remember they had a little storm and it delayed delivery to NW.
Jump to postOK.. heres a thought... the weather looks like its going to move in between now and 5pm. If its really rainy and gross, we can meet up at post road at 5pm, and then go somewhere. I have about 100 pics from my A330 trip yesterday, and can show them if the weather is foul. Say like Perkins or Dennys ?...

Jump to postGotta love the NW DC10s that were there earlier this last winter. Pilots were extrememly hesitant to fly the aircraft in there. RJAA (ICAO 4-letter for NRT/Tokyo Narita)
Again, this is a rumor, its not solid, which is why im throwing it out there to see what the a.net community knows. I have never insinuated that this it fact, nor have I denied it. My intention is not to start malicious crap, but just get the truth from those who have it
Jump to postI heard a rumor that DL fired all the FAs that took voluntary 1,2, and 5 year leaves. IF YOU CAN CLARIFY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS, PLEASE POST !
