what a waste of additional weight as it is.... its going to be another thing for cleaners to deal with on quick turns. Whats the point of this ?.. Theres nothing substantial to be gained from this. Are people getting so fat that they need folding seats to get to the window ?

Another 744 oddity is the 747-400F.... it doesnt have the extended upper deck like the 743, 744 aicraft....no need to add all that extra weight.
