I was really disappointed on the Concorde tour. I was at least expecting to sit in one of the seats. For something that special to me it was a real let down.

you can buy a jump drive(lexar) they come in many sizes. 128, 256, 512 even a 1 gig.

easily transfer images from Laptop to Desktop thru USB port.

Jetblue has a good fare, looks to be the cheapest. except you have to fly into LGB, that's the way I'm going.

The info on Art's page is up to date, you should be able to shoot from any of those locations, I do. From time to time you might be stopped and asked for ID and then continue shooting.

Just saw the movie trailer for "The Terminal" staring Tom Hanks and Directed by Steven Spielberg.

About a Man who spends an extended amount living in the terminal.

AA FL 167 Emergency Landing At JFK

Did anybody see this aircraft on takeoff, apparently one of the engines on this 777 stalled on takeoff. The flight was 12:30 PM Sunday.

you should be ok there, They usually only tell you not to take pictures from there. I've have been asked to put my camera away but not asked to leave. Now for photo's I go to the Costco parking lot.

I am considering buying a new lens, should I spend the extra money to get a lens with IS and which one, Wide angle 28-135 or telephoto 75-300. I allready have a decent 75-300.

yes roosevelt field is now a mall, but you do have cradle of aviation there, and the campus of Nassau Community college is the former Mitchell field. All the old hangers are still there. If you walk out in the middle of the Hemstead plains the runways are still there. Its something to check out.

when I was younger I too went to hang out at the 5 towns batting range to watch the planes come in on the 31R approach. both 13L/R and 31L/R are great for viewing. There are so many different spots.

I bought a Sigma 28-80mm and it will not work with my digital rebel.I get an err 99, I guess its going back to the store. however my tamron 75-300mm works fine with the Digital.
