As Qantas did with their 738's, I would guess that Airbus has a number of customers willing to delay receiving their 320's by a year or so.

The passenger version has it's days numbered. The saviour for the line will be the tanker. As for the freighter, the 767 does not seem to perform as well as the Airbus range. Other than UPS, there are very few new builds. Airborne have purchased second hand 762, but basically only removed the seats....

777 has good acceleration, and UAL have in seat entertainment. Beware the dreaded middle seat in economy. Having been stuck there for over 8 hours it is miserable, how to screw up a perfectly good airplane!

As a US tax payer we get screwed twice. We bail the airlines out and allow them to park numerous 767's in the desert. Then we bail Boeing out by buying 100 new 767's to keep it in production. I agree with aloha717200, they must still be accepting orders. On their commercial airliner web site orders for 26th Nov is order for 2 units for unidentified customer. The old girl still has legs!!!

It is sad to see the 757 go, but time marches on. I have noticed however that Boeing shows two undisclosed orders for the 757 added last week. Anybody know who ordered them, USAF?
