Our 773s won't be retired just yet. They do a good job around the region and nothing can replace them right now. We have invested a lot of money upgrading the computers on the older ones which indicates they will be around a little longer. Ee are even looking into picking up some more 773As.

So it turns out it was a barge with a crane on top and it did not hit the main Tsing Ma Bridge but the smaller one that leads on from the main bridge before the toll booths.

Was apparently not the towers but the bridge itself by something very very tall. Luckily it just scraped the bottom and bent a few metal pieces which did not look load bearing.

I do think the livery is a little dull and in need of a spruce up. This new livery is actually a small enhancement. The titles are repositioned and the tail is green. The grey stripe remains down the fuselage.
