It must have been the Expo 2000 plane. It is a promotion for the Expo taking place in Hanover/Germany. It has been flying like this for several weeks now.
I saw it two days ago here in FRA.

yes, sure money is more important to airlines than in the good old days. Very simply becuase airlines are not national prestigue objects anymore, they are simply a business unit, and every business unit has the same goal, being profitable $$$$$

Depending on the routes they served they had mainly two classes on international flights. SU and IF had Coach and First class. as far as i know, Airport Tax in BKK applies only to checked in Pax, this means transfer passenger don't pay it.
