Yeah what is old is new. DL already partners with Blade at JFK and UA uses HeliFlite for it's EWR transfer option. Of course AA was partners with US Helicopter until they went BK and shut down. Can B6 not make ATL-BOS work? Looking at today and the near future, they are down to 3x a day and I think 2 out of the 3 are on the Embraer aircraft. I think just as recent as last month, it was still 5x daily on the A320 with the morning ATL-BOS flight going out nearly empty every day.

like it or not, DL metal to SIN/MNL will vanish. With most if not all DL flights flying into HND, that will succinctly end DL service to SE Asia. Only way will be via AF/KLM going one eastbound and Korean Air going TPAC. That will leave UA as the only US based airline to serve Singapore.

There will likely be copycats, so wait until someone does the same at a very busy US airport.
My guess is the effect will be similar.
