There is something missing from the above picture. Are you sure you didn't also have either a bowl of fruit or cereal and croissant/pastries because that is the norm.

I'm sure there is a Yotel at Gatwick in one of the terminals. Capsule type room with cheap bed, might be worth having a look.

Thanks for the comments folks. Yes I agree the cabin environment was very warm and welcoming with those colours and fabric. The Novotel is a lovely hotel, the room I had was very comfy and spacious, great sized bathroom, very relaxing pool area to get over the long flight from Europe (or even a shor...

I flew with Asiana lhr-icn-lhr earlier this year and wrote a trip report on here with loads of pictures. The only problem I had with Asiana was the ski slope seats in business class and in a 2-3-2 configuration. Fine if not full but if you are in the middle you might feel a bit cramped. Don't get me...

RE: BA First Class To SYD, 747 Or 777?

Regarding the First cabin on the 777. It is true there is more traffic on the A D side of the aircraft. The flight crew rest area is on the right hand side and curtained off so no one, including crew, can go through that side when bunk in use and being a long range flight they would be. My advice go...

RE: Longhaul Biz Product - BA 763

As regards snack basket or "Club Kitchen" it will be exactly the same stuff as on other long haul routes apart from the hot options (ie soup and meals) because there is no microwave on the 767. In fact the microwave is only fitted on aircraft with the very latest club world seats. Sandwiches and sal...
