Yep. Altho it appears that PDX and SEA (according to this thread anyway) are still up in the air as far as what happens to DAL in Nov... But SAN & SJC are indeed gone as of Nov and SFO & LAX seem to be reduced so, yeah, DAL appears to be, let's say not prospering for AS! Time for me to anal...

The problem with firing the people is that Boeing created the culture to encourage their bad behavior in the first place. By firing them, Boeing dealt with the symptom, not the disease. They need leadership change and cultural change imho. Punitive action is not acceptable in a safety conscious bus...

Generally subleases do not permit further sublease, particularly at rates above the sublease. Therefore, it is not possible for AS to financially enrich themselves by selling/subleasing/transferring the gates to DL or another airline. You really ought to re-read this; based on only a generalization...

The Airbus complaints about the lack of a competitive RFP are absurd. There weren’t RFPs for the prior rounds of A320neo orders at IAG. Investors in IAG also have no basis to be harmed. IAG has bought from Airbus and knows what appropriate pricing is.

This is a decision based on price. For the (relatively) short stage lengths these planes will fly, the 787-9 range advantage is not needed. VS is very happy with the 787 but is looking for the lowest possible acquisition cost.

I believe that it should be made necessary to have MULTIPLE different agencies (including the F.A.A., NTSB, etc.) audit the production process and certification of aircraft. WN has limited MAX 8 flying listed in the June schedules. VCV has the right climate to store aircraft for extended periods of time. Plus it’ll be easy to reinstate the fleet from one single location.
