I personally like Simon and Garfunkle, but I also enjoy Metallica.  <img src="/discussions/graphics/spin.gif">  <img src="/discussions/graphics/spin.gif">  <img src="/discussions/graphics/spin.gif">  <img src="/discussions/graphics/spin.gif">  <img src="/discussions/graphics...

RE: Goodbye MD-11

I think that the airplanes lasted for a long time, and have done their best, but for the purpose of dying off it would be best because of their age.

RE: A Poll! Your Favorite Airport?

I like ORD better than all other airports, mostly because I live right next to it, but also because I have not been to that many others.

RE: Aircraft To Avoid?

I would have to say that the DC-10 and the MD-11 are two planes that you would be better off avoiding. The DC-10's middle engine is centered on the tail perfect enough to tear it off, and that goes double with the MD-11. One wrong move, or something that hits the tail or engine and that plane would ...

RE: PC Game Airport

What is the game about? Do you do something in the airport, or is it like Myst where you walk around exploring? If anyone knows what this game is about, I would like to know. Thank you.

RE: Favorite AIRPORT,AIRLINE And AIRCRAFT.

My favorite airport is ORD, although I have not been to many others. My favorite airplane is the 757-200 & -300. I also love the 747-400. My favorite airline is American airlines because they have really nice captains and flight attendants.

I would like to see the DC-6 flying still. This was a good plane and deserves to still be around.

A3XX Height

How tall will the A3XX be when it is finished, from the ground to the top of the tail, and from the ground to the top of the main fussilage?

737-?

How can you tell the difference between the 737-300, 500, and 600? I can't tell between the 300 and the 500, they both look alike, and that throws me off. Thank You  !

RE: Which Airline Do You Trust The Most

I trust American Airlines the most, because they have friendly captains and they have a delightful crew. Also because they put more room in their 777's.

Do you think that perhaps the reason why they have white paint schemes is that it is cheaper than putting multiple paints or a lot of paint.

My longest flight was when I went to Hawaii. Although we had to stop in Los Angeles when the -DC-10- that I was flying on had an incindent, it took a total of 8 hours to get to Hawaii.

What A Happy Day!

The DC-10 is indeed a threat in the skies and tends to fall from the sky way to often. I think that it is a good idea for American airlines to retire these planes in good fortune that they will get other better planes to use. Probably being a bad idea to begin with to make these planes, to compete w...

Wouldn't that folding wing option pose o threat to the plane, for if something went wrong with the wings, they could be shorn off.

McDonnel Family

I think that the McDonnel family airplanes are a menace to the skies, and henceforth creating accidents and other disasters in their wake. In hope of the airlines decommissioning them, I hope that they would buy other planes such as the 737-800 or the A320. With new airliners the airlines would have...

Boeing 717

I am wondering what the 717 really is. it looks like it is only a DC-10, is that right? I know that Boeing bought out McDonnel Douglas, and I also know that the MD-10 is really an DC-10 with an MD-11's cockpit. But have they done the same with the 717?

A3XX

I think that the A3XX will have a future home somewhere in this world, but also that the 747 will still be the most used plane. Though the A3XX can travel further than the 747, and in many ways can be better than the 747, it does not have that big of a market. the 747 is being used to fly to Denver ...

RE: Future Predictions

The A3XX will be used as much as the 747, being larger and more convient than the current airplanes that are on the market, i think that the A3XX will be bought by many airlines. I think that we are going to see the A3XX a lot in the next ten to twenty years.
