which south american route is the most profitable for u.s airlines. are they flights to brazil,argentina,or columbia? all seem pretty profitable and flights to brazil and argentina get big airplanes. columbia gets the 757 only but they go pretty full.

while in dfw i saw at least 15 md-80 jets being pushed back with thrust reversers. at iah (houston intercontinental airport) i say dc-9 and md-80 thrust reverser push backs. apparantly it is still very common.
