Changing The Aircraft Radius In FS2K2 - How?

How do i alter the .mdl so i can change the aircraft radius to fit at the 'afcad' gate.

My 'gate small' spaces on afcad are usually 28 - 31m radius but it seems that some of my b737s have a radius of more than 31m.

What program can i use to open the .mdl and alter it??

Thanks
