RE: Who's Buying A Ipad?

I went to the Apple store today to check it out. As an iMac and iPhone 3GS owner, I was skeptical. I have to admit though, it's pretty slick. I think it's desireability will increase as applications are developed for it. It is not a total desktop/laptop replacement. But if you need to be somewhat po...

Lots of big money guys buy used. You have to remember, buying a used Lamborghini is not the same as buying a used Camry. These are 2nd, 3rd, 4th vehicles. A 2-year old car may only have 4k miles on it.

RE: The Great New/Used Controversy

It really comes down to the specific car. Looking solely at first year depreciation of a new car is an extremely myopic view of assessing the 'cost' of ownership unless you trade cars after a year. Plus if you compare used car retail to wholesale values for late model cars, I bet you'd find a pretty...

Generally no. Your dad can complete the transaction over the phone. He can fill out the finance application on the Internet. Then have the dealership FedEx docs and then he shows up to pick up the car or have it shipped.

Buying a car is as difficult a process as he wants to make it.
