A tire could have possibly been the cause of Concorde to crash. One of the tires may have been sucked into number 1 or 2 engines causing the engine to go up in flames.

Boeing is planning to put winglets on thier new 737-800. The winglets will extend the range of the aircraft. Also a aircraft with winglets does not need as much fuel.
