Re: Will WN get any of its 737-700 planes ETOPS certified?

All I've heard is crickets when it comes to how their ETOPS is going. Have they even started any proving runs yet? Outfitting a/c with rafts? Mock evacuations? Maybe I was dreaming due to a 3 hr delay but I could swear I saw a WN 737-800 at the next gate at BWI last week that said ETOPS on the nose...

Re: WN's Next Schedule Extension Due Out Sept 27, 2018

It's interesting, and I don't know why, but this particular WN-Sked-Extension thread has now reached 25 posts with only a couple of posts talking about what is expected or hoped to be included in the new schedule -- the whole purpose of the thread! Heck, I don't think there's been even a single (se...

I still prefer a time in the air with no one addicted to their cell phones and laptops. Ahh those days are past now. Re: Upcoming WN schedule extension on 8/30

Hopefully, the delay is somehow related to Hawaii and/or PAE announcements and start-ups. Since many of us are expecting (or at least hoping) both of those new routes to see some action in the next couple of months, WN could be giving themselves some breathing room to accommodate necessary changes ...
