I am sorry, and surprised, to read about your poor experience on Premium Business. I flew it SCL-LIM about three years (not a long time after being introduced) ago and my experience was absolutely fantastic, very different from yours.

Have LAN´s standards deteriorated so much?

Nice trip. I flew the same route two years ago, I did not find the service exceptionally good, but it wasn´t bad either. But then I went to fly them, on a 727, GYE-UIO, and what a flight! It was truly outstanding. I hope you enjoyed the Galápagos. It is truly an amazing place. I did not not take any...

What an exotic route- Aer Lingus MAD-IAD. A shame though to see the product lagging behind. Unfortunately, the competition on MAD-US routes is not precisely stellar.

The cabin crew on you flight were all American, but not United´s?

Fantastic read.

A310! Nice plane. The only time I flew one was quite a few years ago, a LAB Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano example VVI-MVD via EZE. Just an update: As I expected, the terminal won´t be opening this Tuesday, as was announced before, as several "flaws" were detected during the Test. Nobody knows for sure the new opening date, although either January or March 2010 is expected.
