TSA numbers, and I'll try and figure out a way to post them, have been consistently in the -90% YOY since April over the national system. There is no steady increase WOW. Searching Bing, with "TSA numbers" found this: https://www.tsa.gov/coronavirus/passenger-throughput I added days of th...

Re: DL to permanently retire entire 777 fleet

These retirements also removed 2 pilot groups which will also save money with training requirements. Except you’ve kicked off a massive airline wide training event in the near term. At DL every displacement triggers around 9 other seat moves, at a cost of around $2500 a day for training. That’s pro...

I would be almost certain that the shortest scheduled segment operated by UA's DC-10s during their 30+ years in service was COS-DEN. SFO-OAK is just a wee bit shorter. Although UA flew SFO-OAK, and it is shorter than COS-DEN, I don't recall UA DC-10's ever being scheduled from OAK. I recall SFO-OAK...

During the -70's, TWA flew some 707's trans-Atlantic. These had 3-3 seating in economy. Maybe this is what your mom took?
