The one thing you must look at is this, what punishments other people who have lit up on recent flights have gotten. If they werent banned, then he shouldnt be banned. I am sure Delta got some sort of money for this prank.

RE: UX 763 Loses Engine In Mid-atlantic (MAD-CCS)

Lost an engine is perfectly in terms of terminology. The aircraft lost an engine. As in the engine ceased to give any more power output. as in the the thrust produced by the engine to the aircraft was lost. Losing an engine can mean many things. He did not however say the engine fell off. ALthough, ...

RE: Check Out Boeing's New Pricing...

I believe Boeing lists the price way over what they sell the aircrafts for. They do this so they can give customers a discount and look good. For example, if you want to sell something to my grandma, you triple the price then put it on sale for half off. I think Boeing makes a profit on the 748 at l...

RE: A346 Sized Twin

hmm, perhaps i needed to rephrase the question, what if airbus made an aircraft with 2 engines that is roughly the same size as the A346. Does not have to be the A346 with 2 engines, but an all new design.

I mean, do you all think it would work?

A346 Sized Twin

Why doesn't Airbus make a twin engine based on the body of the A346? I mean, supposedly the A350 is a A330 derivative, why not make it an A346 one? That way they could have a more fuel efficient 777 competitor.

BTW, I do know it cost money to design a new wing and all.
