They are no longer flying DAL-OKC? :o Are you sure of that? WN had stated that it was going to be permanently discontinuing DAL-OKC in its January 2020 Base Schedule summary. The PDEW on DAL-OKC was only 45 passengers per day in 2018, and over 86% of the passengers on the DAL-OKC nonstops in 2018 w...

Thank you as always for producing this :). :) Thank you as always for this weekly update. :) Interesting UA has the new awarded HND flights available. Does that mean they have slot time approvals from the Japanese Authorities (and I missed it), or did UA view getting those more as a formality and j...

MAR is a partial month so ignore. Use final JAN and FEB vs the prior year. I had missed that WN loaded an extension. Any big changes besides EWR? Added HNL-ITO/LIH/SMF KOA-OAK/SJC/OGG LIH-SJC/OAK HOU-LIT Plus some seasonal weekend only stuff to Florida. Lots of cuts too: ATL/MCI/MKE-BOS OAK-CMH PIT...

Re: Emotional Support MiniHorses on Airliners

What a great article on the further devolution of the flying experience. Frontier will probably charge a fee not to sit next to a horse. I should develop a horse allergy so I can demand my flight be horse free.

Re: CAN, SZX gain renewed impetus to challenge HKG as air hub in Pearl River Delta

CAN makes no secret of its ambition to overtake HKG as the #1 hub airport by pax traffic Which is a bit of a misnomer, as its traffic flow is overwhelmingly domestic and regional, whereas HKG is still (with all its problems) the premier/largest longhaul and int'l-to-int'l hub of east Asia. That par...

Re: Delta pilots file objection to expanded JVs

So this made my day. I’m not a big fan of unions, but I am a big fan of the consumer. These JVs have been used to reduce capacity and competition in order to raise fares. It never made sense that the pilots supported them. It always reduced their opportunities.
