I miss the days of free hot meals along with beverage service on 45-minute flights on full DC-9 or 727 plane. Always good to see flight attendants acting extremely busy. Hard for me to understand today.

Aviation accident/safety improvement would be a good (and interesting) commercial aviation essay topic. They were many deadly accidents before year 2000. Some airlines failed because of safety problems.

STL had those in mid-1980s, right after TWA/Ozark merger.

DCA, LGA, & EWR.. they have those "shuttle bus" but passengers will have to go downstairs, go outside, go for a short walk on the ramp, and go upstairs. Mobile lounges are way more convenient.

Mixed feelings here, like other posters said, I like how they incorporated the 'tulip' and the 'sunset' colour gradation from the saul bass livery, didn't mind the grey either but the font was horrible, characterless 'times romanesque' and "airlines" was not needed, we always just knew it...
