Re: CSeries orders and possible orders for 2018

There seems to be some speculation from Flieger Faust that Ilyushin Finance have found a client for their 20 frames and he specifically mentions an airline with lots of red in their livery. Thoughts?

I can't see Derry working from EDI; I would have thought that was more a West Coast customer base... My thoughts exactly, I've been on that flight many times and it does not strike me that many from Edinburgh are on that run (mainly based on the accents). Crewing problems and better margins at Edin...

My bet is on IAG or EasyJet but leaning EasyJet. Would a CS300 in FI colours ever be on the table? One would think that with combined range and fuel efficiency it might open up some of the smaller destinations and if they find success at markets like BFS and ABZ they currently only have the 757 to upgauge the route too - certainly a difficult ask ...

Given the blood bath which has been taking place on transatlantic flights from the UK to Canada it's no wonder that TS is going to try and lower costs. It may be a bit cold blooded but if you don't like it you can fly WS and pay for your pile of slop or just bring you own food like many people have ...

From the outside it seems like a huge hill for Cessna to climb! Yes, as much as I liked seeing the A330 this evening a TU-154 would be a much cooler plan to see!

Does anyone know how well they are doing on the route? Is it working out for them?

BH Air A330 at GLA??

Just arrived in from LCY this evening and noticed a BH Air A330 being pushed out of the gate for what I assume is it's return trip to BOJ. Is the route doing that well it needs the A330 or was this a sub for the usual A319/320?
