Re: LATAM Argentina drops two cities from its domestic network

LATAM has the ability to dominate South America but every decision they make , makes it seem like they want to downsize by 50% by 2025.... Well, at least in Brazil that's all they do nowadays: lose market share. They are losing market share in the traditional strongholds of Perú and Chile as well. ...

Next month Air France will switch from a Daily A343 to a Daily B789 on CDG-BOG-CDG. Both legs nonstop. Yes, but they are also changing the departure time from 8:50pm, to midnight. While that may not seem like a very significant change, the drop in temperature is expect to give that extra "juic...

Re: KLM increasing Bogota to 5 flights / week during winter 2018/19

The change of the stopover from CLO to CTG has really helped the flight. Not only does it save around 1.5h of travel time on the way to Europe, CTG is actually providing many more passengers to the flight than CLO.

Great to see KLM consolidating in Colombia.

Takeoff performance with altitude is part of all aircraft definition. If an airline didn't know exactly how the aircraft would perform, they would be silly. The ATRs were severely limited for operations out of BOG Why did they buy ATR anyways? Were them inherited from TACA?
