RE: Once "Unthinkable" Are Cuts To US DOD On The Way?

"The Marine Corps pulls down about 6 percent of the department’s budget,” Conway said. “For that 6 percent, you get about 15, 16 percent of the maneuver battalions; you get 15 percent of the attack aircraft [and] you get 19 percent of the attack helicopters. RE: Vladimir Putin; "T-50 Is Superior To F-22"

I think it's a little early in the development and testing of the T-50 to be making such claims, and without combat tours under the F-22's belt It's hard to know exactly what capabilities and effect it will have on the battle field. Only time will tell, I won't lose any sleep over it. <table border=...

I like it a lot, I have used it on short flights like SFO-SEA, and long flights like SEA-NRT, The only noticeable difference the last time I used it was the leg room, Although I'm a little taller at 6'3" the extra room is worth money/miles.

Since your break away thrust for one engine vs. two would require the running engine to be given a little more power I wonder if this would have a negative effect on the turbine after awhile?

It looks like a MC-130P or "combat shadow" It's amazing that no one was hurt by the flying prop blades. It's been a year or so since I put a prop together but each of those blades weighs at least 150 lbs if not more.
