RE: Harry Redknapp Is New Tottenham Hotspur Boss

As a Spurs fan, the appointment of 'Arry, doesn't fill me with confidence. I think he knows how to motivate players and get the best out of them, but tactics wise i think he is nieve. I also think the Board of directors at Spurs are also quite cunning aswell. Bring in Redknapp before the transfer wi...

RE: F1 2008: Singapore Grand Prix!

Generally it was a good grand prix and i enjoyed every minute of it. Allthough at the end of the race i was waiting for the race stewards to come out and say that Lewis Hamiltons Bargeboards were 0.0000000000001mm to thin and deemed illegal. I did enjoy when the Ferrari Mechanics went running to Mas...

RE: Teacher You Really Remember?

One teacher stands out for me, my A-Level mathmatics teacher Miss Diana Bratten She was an excellent teacher, and uncorrupted by the system that the government and local authorities set. She was 18 months out of teacher training college, and a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of the old duff...

Strewth.... Reading some of the posts on here on what is considered a good MPG rate, i'm never gonna bitch to my other half that she is getting less than 45MPG in her VW Golf GTI (TDI). Even my Audi 3.0litre TDI Quattro gets a combined 55MPG and never dips...

RE: $700 Billion Bail Out Plan

I haven't been following the US recovery plan too much, but one thing that stikes is whilst this is taxpayers money, the theory is that the government can afford to spread the pain across 20-30 years. This is something that commercial organisations can't do. The problem that concerns me is where doe...

Most Bumpy Route

One of the most turbulent flights i've ever had was about 15-17 years ago on a Sydney - Honululu - San Francisco flight on a Qantas 747-300, infact i was almost physically sick we were bouncing around that much.
