I did a D8 tatl flight. They had tap water on the US-Norway leg. But not on the Norway to US leg. I imagine by law they had to for leaving US flight.

The first airline that came to my mind, JetBlue. This seems to be the perfect route for them to start TATL service. obviously, there would be very little feed on the BUF end of things. You can book BUF-MCO-CUN with a 7.5 hour layover. The 11:50pm MCO-CUN leg seems like a strange time.

BUF has 1 737-900 1 A320 1 ERJ-175 2 CRJ-700 Doesn't look like any increase there. I remember a couple years back having at least 1 757-200 per day. Doesn't a 737-900 sit the same amount as a 757? ;) In the current configuration yes, but I believe there used to be a higher density domestic configur...

If jetBlue really wanted to. Could they downgauge some of the days on BUF-LAX to a 190 during the winter months? Does the 190 have the range for this route? Not sure what variant B6 has and it's only about 100nm further than YYZ-PDX which AC uses the 190 on. Wiki shows the range for the 190 at 2450...

BUF-LAX was pretty much less than daily all winter this year. I'm not sure where the link to the article is, but the head of the airport mentioned the route is performing well.

Last time UA's 747 was in BUF, it was used to take the Bills to London.

For all their domestic flights the Bills usually use UA 764s or 753.

Did any airline fly from BUF-DAL/DFW at any point in time? I know American (American Eagle) flew SYR-DFW for a brief period of time in 2008-2009 using the ERJ, but stopped due to the terrible economy at the time. Southwest also has said that they are looking into SYR as a potential destination, but...

I fully expect AA to add this with either 319s or E75s. kind of surprised they haven't already, BOS and BDL are the only airports in the region with DFW service (excluding YYZ and YUL - the latter of which is served by E75s) maybe WN will beat them to it? who knows. it's surprising there's no servi...

BUF is probably the largest unserved domestic city from DAL+DFW. Q3 2014 BTS stats show 149PDEW with zero non stops. I fully expect AA to add this with either 319s or E75s. kind of surprised they haven't already, BOS and BDL are the only airports in the region with DFW service (excluding YYZ and YU...

Those two cities each have extensive TATL networks already. It seems like they're aiming for markets where they aren't going to being fighting.

B6 runs 5x BUF-BOS for 500 seats a day. AA was doing 2x for 100 seats per day.

Seems like DL has some opportunity there.

Using this data I compiled it for BUF.

Extract the BUF origins->get the destinations (remove duplicates)->sum the data based on destination->multiple by 10 (data is a 10% sample)-> Divide by 91 (days in a quarter).

I was looking at LAX's Instagram story promoting a Hainan route launch, and one of the images is of a Hainan 747-8 on a cake. Seeing as Hainan has no 747s nor any on order, this seems strange. Why would Hainan do that?

Hopefully that will bode well for potential service to BUF too, which is beginning a terminal upgrade to be able to handle larger a/c. Also, has said they are pursuing international carriers.

Could we see BUF-DEN come back year round? According to this article it was mentioned as possible to come back after its test period.
