I don't know if this helps, but I used Gunze Sangyo H70 RLM Gray02 as my starter colour for my Asiana aircraft(737,747,767), and they look right to me. I just slowly added white and when it looked close, applied it...

my 2 cents is (again) why nwa - I've always thought of it as "Northwest", not nwa like TWA or PSA, for example - and also the red triangle at front looks like Canadian Tire logo (just missing small maple leaf at top...)

I always join my wings before any painting. I fill gaps with putty and sand until smooth. (this includes engines and pylons, if applicable!) I start with overall colour of wings, then inspars if any, followed by leading edge. Never too difficult!! I mask this off when I paint the fuselage.

Are you finding the price of plastic models starting to climb? I was at a local hobby store the other day and kits that used to be $20 are now approaching $50!! And most of these are older kits just re-issued!! What is the problem here?? Do they come already built now? No gluing or painting required...

Largest model is 1/72 B-52H, plus a G model almost done(both are AMT)...Also have a 1/72 B-36(Monogram) to be made..I know it's bigger!! - I had this kit when I was younger but I'll do a much better job of it this time around..Lengthwise is 1/72 XB-70(AMT)...

Re the Hasegawa 1/200 passenger types are usually always white fuselage and all other parts gray. Exceptions are AA MD-11(gray fuselage), KLM and Korean MD-11(blue), KLM and Korean 747-400(blue, if I remember). E-767 is gray. They are great to build, the detail is far superior than Revell or Airfix,...
