Why Doesn't Boeing Or Airbus Make A Regional Jet?

Assuming they would want to, the easiest way for A or B to get into the regional market (or bloodbath...) would be to purchase BBD, EMB, Sukhoi or Mitsubishi. That way they would not throw another competing program in an already crowded market. That being said I really doubt any of these are up for ...

Which Will Fly First, CS100 Or A359?

As the title says, since there are those two development running in parallel, what's your thoughts on which will fly first?

The Bombardier CS100 was supposed to fly by year end but then the Airbus A350-900 flying prototype was seen rolled out first today.

Bombardier as a corporation will survive as its aerospace division is roughly 50% of the business, and within that 50% more than half is coming from business jets which command a higher profit margin. On a short hop I would definitely go with the Q400 instead of the A319. High wing means you get an excellent view outside. 2x2 means if you don't get a window at least you get an aisle.

My preference has nothing to do with the carriers, only the aircraft
