I can't see how this would be competitive against the car for O&D passengers, nor competitive for pax connecting beyond FLL that in most cases could fly nonstop from MCO. It's a shame B6 didn't work out, though a p2p ULCC like F9 or G4 may be a much better fit for DAB anyhow...

Yikes! Is this an Indigo cost-cutting exercise? I seem to recall KEF-LAX being about 9 hours. I believe I was on an A321 for about 4 hours BCN-KEF and it was quite uncomfortable. Then again, KEF-LAX may be a mission better suited to an FI 767 anyways...

I've long felt that some of AS's financial success can be attributed to their services in high fare niche markets like JNU, MMH, STS, etc. B6's financial struggles are apparent, and moves like this to capitalize on similar markets in the East make total sense to me!

If anything, maybe FI and WW each need to find their own niche markets. Perhaps FI gets to have CLE, MCI and SFO, while WW gets to have DTW, LAX and PIT. I could see FI adding something like MKE with the 737 MAX while WW could send an A330 to LAS, perhaps even PHX.
