It really depends where in London you need to be. If you need to go to East London then it is great.

Heathrow is more convenient at times for West London as you can arrive in Paddington in around 20 minutes.

I do love landing in LCY though. The steep approach and city views are a great combination!

But in the what proportion ? They need to be encouraged to increase plane size and reduce frequency on some European city routes. This is the business model of BA. They feed traffic through it's megahub but it also serves as a preferred airline for business traveler, who by the nature of their work...

Today TOM started flights to the Caribbean using the 787's.

For 6 weeks there will be flights to Montego Bay on Sundays and Cancun on Mondays.

Let's hope this does well! The TOM 787's are a nice sight in DUB.

I don't know a lot about the demographics of this route but, from what I have heard, Japanese tourism to Europe is declining as a result of the Paris attacks and presumably after the recent events in Brussels. I am not sure if this is the reason for its axing, but it might be a contributing factor. ...
