RE: Do Digital Cameras Cause Interference Inflight?

Honestly, in my opinion, cameras should be allowed and well-tolerated. My reasoning is that they can help out tremendously if an emergency occurs. (Such as shooting a video out of the window when a part of the wing falls off, or a fire occurs.) Then the NTSB or any other ruling board, has some sort ...

RE: Iran Air Grounds 747s

Raptor's account of hospitality of the Iranians seems just right. My father is Iranian, so I've had the opportunity to visit the country several times. Regardless of what the media says, the people of Iran shows the utmost courtesy to tourists and travelers inside the country.

I also vividly remember flying a British ATR from Duesseldorf to Gatwick about 10 years ago, with the 777 Connection to DFW. (Also got the chance to take the AA...

Question About Alcoholic Beverages Onboard

I am travelling back to Germany again during the summer. This will be the first time I am traveling over the age of 16. I was wondering, on board international flights, what are the laws governing the purchase of alcoholic beverages? Since the legal age in the US (flight origin) is 21, but the legal ...

The Dumbest Passengers

Recently, on a flight from SAT to ATL, the lady in the row behind me was talking to her friend (sister, etc..?) and asked if she had ever been to "Georgia". She immediately started screaming and ran out to the flight attendants (we were in the middle of our decent into ATL, so the flight attendants ...

Countries Where Capital Doesn't Have Main Airport

The countries that I know of that do not have their capital as the biggest airport is Germany (FRA) and United States of America (ATL). Are there any more?

What Was Your Smoothest Landing?

If you have traveled a lot, like I have, what has been your smoothest landing that you have ever felt on a Commercial Airliner? Mine has to be with Northwest Airlines on a B752 from DUS landing in <ac...

I do not believe this is possible. The iPod connects to a USB Port which I don't think is supplied to you in Aircraft's Personal Monitor.

Longest Route Operated By Regional Airline?

I don't know if it's been discussed before, but I was wondering what route there is in the world that is operated by a Regional Airline. The one that comes to my mind is SFO - <acronym title="San Antonio - Intern...

I have also found out that FAI is the smallest city in the US (35,000) that has Non-Stop service to Europe. Smallest Cities With The Highest Traffic Movement

I believe there was a recent topic about the largest city without a designated Hub, which I think is SAT in the United States, but I wanted to know what smaller cities there are that have a lot of movement? Such as <acr...
