Is it just me or is the 380 not that high off the ground for a plane that size. I was looking at the people under the plane and they almost were touching there heads on the belly. It seams like something that big would be way off the ground.

Personally I hope they dont get started, US airlines are finally starting to make some money, so for now the less competition the better.

Lets say they dont start retiring the dc 9's fast, would it be possible to hire new pilots or transfer existing pilots to the dc 9 with the promise of jumping right into the 787(I think they ordered it) or 330's. Because I would think it would be hard to get people to fly a super old plane like that.

Many of my rejections have been because of jpeg compression, I'm not positive but I think that comes from resizing. I use corel paint shop pro as my editing program I take most of my pictures at 2048x1536 or 1600x1200. When I resize my images there are always major jaggies or weird kind of blury spo...

Question For Pilots Of Different Aircraft

For starters the bright landing lights are not on at 33,000 ft. I am probably wrong but I believe 10,000 ft or so is when they usually go on and off. Also the lights are more for letting other planes see you then the pilot actually seing out. Also they help while taxiing at night.
