Well, there are few refueling stations on the Pacific for such a long range.Jump to post

75%. He stinks on the environmental issues and is on the right but he can see both sides of an issue and take the middle and seems to know what he is doing. He is doing a good job overall in my opinion and I am sure that Gore wouldn't be able to do much better.Jump to post
Was down at midnight EDT last night for about an hour but then when it came back up, it was noticeably faster than before.Jump to post
AF is dumping their 767's, 747-200's and -300's and 737's and getting A330's and A380's. In the future the only Boeing aircraft that will be in their fleet will be 747-400's, 777-200's and 777-300ER's. IB eventually will only have 757-200's which they have orders of now - they will retire their MD-8...Jump to post
SR, SN, LH, AF, TAP, Austrian, BMI, Cyprus, and IB are mainly-Airbus carriers.
BA and KLM are mainly Boeing.
In the U.S.:
AA, DL, CO, SWA and UA have placed large orders with Boeing.
UA, NWA, US, jetBlue and AWA have placed significant orders with Airbus.
I have another question for Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X users - do either operating system support wallpapers? I remember from System 7.5 that if you went to the Desktop Patterns control panel and threw a picture in there, it would put them into patterns of squares of the size that all individual squares t...Jump to post
I believe that it is more like the 757 since it is heavier and uses RB211-535E4's just like most of the 757's out there.Jump to post
Why did US go for the A321 if they already have a fleet of 34 757's? The spat with Boeing couldn't have affected the decision too much and since the A321 doesn't stand out and US was a large Airbus customer already, a deal for them couldn't have been so sweet.Jump to post
Today I just discovered a discussion forum in Yahoo! Clubs for issues relating to Airbus which I find to be very good and full of knowledgeable people and discussions filled with information, so I am wondering if there is a similar one for Boeing fans and/or issues out there. If you know of any, ple...Jump to post
Boeing747-400, you have contributed nothing to this thread except for Airbus vs. Boeing drivel. Do you really need a ban for once?
Anyhow, BA IMO is Britain's true flag carrier since it serves domestic cities as well as cities around Europe while Virgin is almost exclusively intercontinental.
mb, I agree. When I hire someone for a job, I want the person who is best suited for it, not a black or gay person just because he is so. I am completely against AA because I don't want to be sued by another person when I hire someone. I am not going to choose someone out there who is a minority jus...Jump to post

And Boeing747-400 just must light the fire again for another classic A vs. B war. You even fail to notice "777er" in his name. SO GET OVER IT.
Also, does anybody know why Boeing suddenly want to lure an unlikely customer for the 773ER when they already have orders from AF and EVA(?)?
Blacks should be protected from hiring discrimination through laws but then again, you have black folks claiming out there that the police are focusing on the search for Levy instead of the 2 black girls in Chicago because of racist views while ignoring that the circumstances surrounding Levy's disa...Jump to post
