How did you get the whole picture in your message instead of just the thumbnail?

RE: Deltas New Look

Maybe they should just stick with their 70's scheme even though it looks out of date since it has worked so well for them and become very recognizable for Delta.

RE: Transcontinental In An A320?

BTW, are there any major US airlines that operate A320's on short routes? It seems as if all of the majors with them (UA, NW, US, HP) operate them on transcontinental routes.

RE: Transcontinental In An A320?

Doesn't US Airways run A320's from either PHL or PIT to SFO?

RE: A340NG Vs. 772ER/773LR

What's the disadvantage of having 3-3-3 to 2-5-2? Don't they both have the same number of seats that are neither window nor aisle seats? Also, why do some airlines prefer 4 to 2 engines? To cater to the fear of a of the flying public? In that case, I'm pretty sure that an A340 or perhaps a 747 can c...

Well isn't it time to finally have an Embraer vs. Canadair war instead of an Airbus vs. Boeing one?

I thought that DSM occasionally receives an NWA 744. But anyhow I just found out that I was wrong. MSP also came off the top of my head.

RE: Half Blue Half Red Plane?

Or perhaps he may be just as aviation-illiterate as a high number of people if not most are. Some mistaken a DC-10 or an L-1011 for a 747 and the reason is because they just don't have the interest in aviation. Let the person develop his/her interest and ask any questions that he/she may have. That ...

RE: A340NG Vs. 772ER/773LR

No, both manufacturers make equally good planes and it is simply an airline's preference that determines which one it chooses. Now I am trying to ask what differentiates the 772ER/773LR from the A340NG so that an airline would want to choose one over the other. Please keep this discussion on track a...

RE: A340NG Vs. 772ER/773LR

Just wondering, can't you make an A340 2-5-2 or 3-3-3 though? Well at least on Airbus's website or somewhere else, an A340 can either have 8 or 9 abreast.

A340NG Vs. 772ER/773LR

Hello: I understand that the main difference between the A340NG and the 772ER/773LR is the number of engines. However, what else sets them apart besides and would make an airline head for one or the other besides fleet commonality? Their range seem to be similar as well as their pax capacity. Oh and...
