Neeleman is excellent at running airlines though and previously ran an airline so successful that Herb bought it and under the agreement of the purchase, had a 5-year non-competing agreement with him.

They should have given at least a month of notice so that travelers can quickly be reaccommodated on other airlines. With poor customer service like this I am sure that I will never fly them even if they return to ROC.

The A340 hasn't had a single crash yet over the 6 to 8 years it has been in service for while the 747 and DC-10 first experienced crashes within 5 years after it entered service. It is a very safe plane and will get you to your destination fine.

Or take UAL942 on a 777 or AA42 on a 763.
