Re: United Fleet/Network Thread - 2019

Just came across this update aircraft N12004 (78J) joins the fleet 2/1/2019, CHS-IAD. They choose to wait til the 1st? It’s ready now... Whatever... Probably don’t want to show it on this months financial report. :dollarsign: :scratchchin: I believe its getting contractually delivered on 1/31 with ...

I could see expansion for additional connecting frequencies to IAD replacing any EWR RJ flights, which would have additional mainline flights. Part of rebalancing connecting flow through IAD from EWR. Doesn't make sense if you are connecting, especially west, to fly over IAD to get to EWR.

Is DL flying anywhere 1x with CR1/2? IMT for example is 3x. Thats 150 seats. Why not just cut frequency to 2x and use E70? That would give 138 seats, and unless those 3 flights are running at 100%, should be good. Ideally I would imagine they would like to axe CR2 all together so that they can be ea...

This is massively overstated. Burke vs. Chantilly moved the airport a bit further out, but it's hardly a 'massive mistake.'
