It needs to come from an airport that's within range of that smaller aircraft - with a C208 assuming a decent cargo load, that's not very far. SJU and MIA are more reasonable than MEM or SDF.

I have not heard of any plans to remove it - it's one of I believe only three such heavy mx facilities in the country for FX. They do a LOT of work down there, including a lot of the company's B and C checks.

Flightaware basically has a disclaimer on their site that says non-domestic coverage is spotty at best. Use FR24 or Planefinder.
