Assuming you mean fly on (although not sure how you plan to fly on a Thai AF A340)...
Japan Airlines B787
All Nippon Airways B787
Singapore Airlines A380
Austrian Airlines B777
Iran Air A310
Cathay Pacific A350
A380 never tire of flying it, love the take off and quiet effortless ride
A350 quiet smooth and nice cabin conditions
B747 noisy (by comparison to more modern designs) but what is there not to like...enjoy it while you can
Frequently enough you can find fares like this from Heathrow. Last November, I booked LHR-DUB-LHR for £79 return, two weeks before travel. I've also seen things like £95 one way in Club Europe from Stockholm to London Heathrow (searching in April for travel in November). €39 fares out of Dublin are...Jump to post
N748PA had an experimental hybrid livery too circa 1989, I flew on her from Seattle to London and saw her a few times afterwards. Fantastic reading these articles brings back happy memories, always enjoyed travelling with Pan Am, flew them five times in all N729PA N751PA N730PA N727PA and N748PA. I ...Jump to post
Ive got a soft spot for three Airlines overall, and as you can tell from my site name, Pan Am is an airline with such an ironic image its probably one of the few people outside the industry or interest, can identify.Jump to post
In 2017 I flew from LHR to Pisa for the day on a Sunday, there were only 8 of us on a BA A320. They asked me and the guy across the aisle with his teenage son to move back to man the emergency exits. The return flight, a A321 that night was rammed full, glad I took an upgrade.Jump to post
I have to say what a great job BA have done on these planes. I spotted the Negus tail 2 weeks ago across at T5 and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stick up! It took me back some. Then last Tuesday I was off to Berlin and saw BOAC and Landor later as we took off. Just need to see the BEA one...Jump to post

I always thought the best hotel in LA was out on the dark desert highway. A nice lady was there to welcome you, there's a mission nearby, it was such a lovely place. Plenty of room any time of year, but whilst they dont have any wine on the menu, they serve pink champagne on ice. You can even check ...Jump to post

PatrickZ 80, yes I can understand where you're coming from on this, but the there are always Airlines in transition in liveries too ie Iberia Qantas Lufthansa Air Canada KLM Alitalia just for example where there's no uniformity. There's one at LYS Lyons Airport too quite close to the runway down the side of a building. Had a real surprise when I saw it. It's an old classic too formerly C-FTNA 1019 (Air Canada'so first Tristar in the day) damaged by hail in 2001 whilst flying Air Transat. It was part of guided tour (there's ...Jump to post

In 1921 Qantas will become the first airline to fly continuously for 100 years under their original name. That IMHO will be the first centenary that really means something. Honourable mention must go to KLM who would almost certainly would have served 100 years continuously under their original nam...Jump to post
It's also about how difficult you make it too. A 45 min connection in CDG or FRA and there's reasonable chance you're going to come unstuck. Plus the time of day can make a difference and where you're travelling to or from too. I've had a very easy pleasant transfer at CDG, but I've also had one tha...Jump to post

Whether it is the man behind the picket fence on the grassy knoll,or the secret service being involved in a car crash in a French tunnel, conspiracy theories are everywhere and some love to believe in them or come up with ever more complex explanations. Alia Royal Jordanian went through 3-4 liveries in the late 70s early 80s before they settled on the brown livery we're familiar with today.
Red tails...biege tails... stripes up the tail and a sort of pale bluey white scheme with an unusual pattern on it with blue diamonds on it.
2 years ago I was sat in a cafe in Zurich drinking a coffee very slowly to watch the planes go by and a Delta Connection Embraer taxied by presumably on a ferry flight somewhere, which remains me to look the picture up and see where it ended up. Like the AC A319s at LHR, the first time I saw a Mongo...Jump to post
I have to say I think this is one of the best retro jets we've ever had. Looks really good.
Well done BA ..can't wait to see it for real.

I wondered if it was something to do with the old hand written tickets. I found recent Qantas ones very good. A clever play on on board actions and real life situationstories. Also doubles up as anew Australian tourism film too. Interjected with typical dry Aussie humour. Second film also pretty good but first one was the best, they kept you watching and engaged.Jump to post
