I wish they would leave a little later in the afternoon, now all 3 flights to Tokyo from SEA are all departing around noon to 2pm, a 6PM or later departure would have been nice and offered some flexibility.

TK is splitting their IST-SGN-HAN and IST-HAN-SGN routes to serve both destinations non stop. There is also a big frequency boost going from 7 flights per week to Vietnam to almost double daily. (HAN operating 6 weekly and SGN daily) All flights operated by A330.

Only 14% of TK's revenue is in Turkish Lira meanwhile 27% of their expenses are in Lira. So it kinda helps from that point of view but you have to take into account that air travel in Turkey is gonna diminish with the crisis.

Is it me or are they really throwing water to stop the fire? If it's a lithium battery, that will just intensify the flames. And it was coming from a cabin crew too. Shouldn't they have proper training on this and use appropriate equipment available on board?

I don't know, I think it's a good partnership. AA's network within the northwest is close to non existent. On the other hand AS's coverage of the southeast is pretty bad.
So overall I think the partnership makes sense.
