Rafales Or Typhoons Over San Antonio, TX

Two of my friends saw what appeared to be a tanker and four jet fighters flying over our building in San Antonio around noon or so today. Both said the fighters appeared to be delta wing aircraft and were certain the planes weren't F-16 or some other American designed airplanes. Can anyone in San An...

RE: What Plane Is Likely To Replace The KC-10?

My guess would be that it will most likely be based on the 777. I don't know that the Air Force would want something as big as the 747-8 when it turned down Boeing's original 747 tanker proposal. Of course that was some years back and the perceived needs might be different now.

Though there's no apparent interest in a C-5 replacement and the C-17s will go a long time before they need to be replaced, you have to wonder if Boeing and Airbus are already giving at least some tentative thoughts to what the next military airlift step might be. You'd think they might be as they l...

747-300! Master bedroom would be upstairs! Personal home office in the nose, then lay out the rest according to your desires. I think I'd put the dining room between the office and the rest of the place; kind of a neutral zone where it'd be a bit quiet. Just my two cents worth!  <img src="http:...

I don't see the A330 improvements as casting doubt on either the 787 or the A350. What I do see is Airbus getting all it can out of an already very successful program. It makes good business sense. Doesn't it make sense there will likely be more orders once the airplane is in service and has time to prove itself? It stands to reason that some governments are taking a wait-and-see attitude as surely as some airlines take one when a new model is offered for sale.
