RE: SQ And TG Loss Making Routes

Does TG operate their A330s non-stop BKK-KHH vv or via HKT, i.e. BKK-HKT-KHH? I tho they (once) operated via HKT, which seemed to prove popular with tourists...

RE: Chinese Airlines In Akl?

ZK-NBT: I personally do think flying non-stop, direct always do seem a better choice. Already NZ (AKL) is VERY far from Beijing, I reckon a non-stop flight would already takes approx 12 hours. RE: Chinese Airlines In Akl?

Just a note - hopefully I won't confuse things further - ZK-NBT mentioned that China Southwest did fly for a couple of flight back in 99, and later TG992 mentioned that CZ did indeed fly around 96... Well, China Southwest's code is SZ, whereas CZ is China Southern Airlines - both are different airli...

RE: Chinese Airlines In Akl?

If I'm not mistaken, Air China (CA) have once operated to AKL before, routing PEK-SHA-SYD-AKL vv. Not sure when and for how long did they operated to AKL tho..

Cheers!

RE: Emirates Flying Into New Zealand?

Aw... NZ767... what a disappointment for me - knowing that you going to "shelve" you plans to extend the runway...  <img src="/discussions/graphics/confused.gif" ALT="Confused">.... I was going to ask you to invite me along on your project to dig up the place and extend WLG's runway...Just got ...
